TOWN OF WALLKILL – The Korn’s Campground, which the town purchased from the Korn family months ago, up and running.
The campground offers camping near the Shawangunk Kill trout stream, with wooded secluded sites, as well as shaded field areas for camping.
Sites at the campground have electricity and water, some have full RV hookups. Town of Wallkill residents receive special reduced pricing to use the facility.
The park is also connected to the 135 acre Moonbeams Land Trust property. Town Supervisor Daniel Depew said hiking from the land trust or Moonbeams back to the camp is encouraged.
