Newburgh-Beacon pedestrian walkway stays closed; traffic flowing as normal

BEACON – Due to continued maintenance work, the pedestrian walkway on the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge will remain closed today (Friday). Work will be completed the same day and the walkway is expected to reopen on Saturday morning at dawn.
The bridge is operating normally for vehicular traffic.
The New York State Bridge Authority will post updates on its Facebook and Twitter feeds.
