CORNWALL-ON-HUDSON – State and Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson Police arrested a Cornwall resident in connection with the early Wednesday morning stabbing of a local person. A male victim sustained a non-life threatening wound, police said.
At mid-morning police with K-9 units were searching for a weapon off Idlewild Avenue in the area of the creek.
The suspect, not yet identified publicly, is charged with felony assault.
Troopers are expected to announce details of the incident and arrest around mid-day on Thursday.
