Wallkill police revive man from drug overdose

TOWN OF WALLKILL – A Huguenot man found unconscious in a car on
Gibbs Court in the Town of Wallkill was revived by Wallkill Town Police
with the use of Narcan.
Officers were called to the location for a report of a possible overdose. They found the 26-year-man in the parked vehicle and began to deliver Narcan, the emergency first aid drug that counteracts opioid overdoses.
Mobile Life Support Services personnel arrived on the scene and provided additional fire aid to the victim. After regaining consciousness, the man was transported to Orange Regional Medical Center where he was treated and released.
