Men break into Wallkill apartment as residents lock themselves in bedroom

TOWN OF WALLKILL – Police in the Town of Wallkill are investigating a burglary of an occupied apartment at the Silver Lake Garden Apartments late Tuesday night.
Police found the 29-year-old resident, her two children ages one and four, and her 32-year-old roommate hiding in a bedroom, where they had locked themselves when they said two men broke into their home.
The victims said two men stole electronics and other property before fleeing a few minutes later.
The suspects were described as being five-feet, nine-inches tall and five-feet, 10-inches tall, one with a stocky build and wearing a black sweater and dark colored mask and the other wearing a mask.
