his second term on the Common Council

POUGHKEEPSIE – One day after Poughkeepsie Alderman Tracey Hermann died unexpectedly at age 52, friends, acquaintances, political allies and foes gathered at City Hall at noon on Friday to lay a memorial wreathe.
Among those attending was Mayor Robert Rolison, who echoed the sentiments of so many others over the last day-and-a-half.
“What he did in his work and what he did in his dedication to the city really showed how he was a friend doing all the things a great council person like he was and the loss was immeasurable,” Rolison said.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 8 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the William G. Miller and Son Funeral Home in Poughkeepsie. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 9 at 10 a.m. at Christ Episcopal Church in Poughkeepsie.
