WASHINGTONVILLE – Police
scoured the area for a lone gunman who robbed the Dunkin Donuts shop at
30 West Main Street in Washingtonville in the late Wednesday morning.
The man, armed with a handgun, wore a ski mask and made off with over $1,000 in cash taken from both registers. He fled the scene heading north on Route 208 in Washingtonville in a black sedan.
No injuries were reported.
Several police agencies searched for the perpetrators with Washingtonville Police taking the lead.
