CARMEL – The Putnam County Sheriff’s office reports the arrest of a Putnam Valley man on an Ohio arrest warrant.
On February 17, William Tucker, 61, of 322 Oscawana Lake Road, Putnam Valley was taken into custody by criminal investigators on an outstanding Probation Violation/Child Support Warrant from Medina County, Ohio. Tucker had absconded from Medina, Ohio in 2006.
Investigators from the Medina County Sheriff’s Office had recently determined the location of Tucker, and requested that he be taken into custody on the warrant and held pending extradition proceedings.
Tucker was arrested and charged as a fugitive from justice. He is being held without bond pending extradition by Ohio authorities.
