NYC woman charged with unemployment insurance fraud

Moody

MONROE – State Police at Monroe arrested Latasha Moody, 42, from the Bronx, for grand larceny, falsifying business records and offering a false instrument for filing. All charges are felonies

The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by The New York State Department of Labor which revealed that Moody received Unemployment Insurance monies in the amount of $4,968.25 to which she was not entitled by filing false statements with respect to her employment.

Moody was arraigned in the Village of Florida Court and released on her own recognizance. She has a future court appearance in the Town of Woodbury Court
