LIVINGSTON MANOR – A 32-year-old man who witnesses told authorities had used heroin at one location, but was found unconscious and unresponsive for close to a half hour when found at the Willowemoc Motel on DeBruce Road in Livingston Manor, was revived by Narcan by a Sullivan County Sheriff’s deputy.
Deputy Sean Grady determined by interviewing witnesses that the man had used heroin and he administered a dose of Narcan, the opioid reversal drug. When Mobile Medic Ambulance first responders arrived, they administered a second dose and as soon as the man regained consciousness, he was transported to Catskill Regional Medical Center, where police said he was expected to make a full recovery.
No criminal charges are pending at this time.  The matter is still under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office. State Police assisted at the scene.
