LAGRANGE – A Pleasant Valley man was arrested on Wednesday after
State Police caught him driving the wrong way on the Taconic State Parkway
in the LaGrange area.

A caller to Dutchess County 911 reported a wrong-way driver traveling
on the Taconic by Route 44. Troopers checked the parkway from Pleasant
Valley to LaGrange and found a car matching the vehicle described by the
caller.

The driver was identified as Louis Fusilli, 25, of Pleasant Valley, who
was found to be intoxicated and driving southbound in the northbound lanes
of the parkway.

He supplied a breath sample that revealed his blood alcohol content was
.19 percent, more than two times the legal limit for intoxication.

Fusilli was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated as a misdemeanor.
