Three arrested on drug charges following Highland traffic stop

TOWN OF LLOYD – Three people were arrested following a traffic stop for speeding on Route 44/55 in the Town of Lloyd.
Timothy Knight, 43, of Highland, Christine McGlinchey, 36, of Wappingers Falls, and Alicia Lickteig, 31, of Highland, were each charged with misdemeanor drug possession on Friday, January 15.
Knight, the driver, was also found to have a suspended driver’s license.
A search of the vehicle tuned up heroin, a hypodermic needle, paraphernalia containing heroin residue and crack cocaine residue, along with Oxycodone and marijuana.
Knight was also found to possess heroin that he concealed on his body.  He was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence as a felony and unlawful possession of a hypodermic instrument.
McGlinchey was charged with two misdemeanor drug possession counts and unlawful possession of marijuana. Lickteig was charged with two counts of misdemeanor drug possession.
All three were released on appearance tickets.
