Monticello couple charged with breaking into storage sheds

PORT JERVIS – Police in Port Jervis arrested two Monticello residents for allegedly breaking into commercial storage sheds in that city on two different dates in late December and stealing valuables from them.
Matthew Irelan, 27, and Amber Bock, 21, were arrested on Monday, January 4 and charged with three counts each of felony burglary and grand larceny, and misdemeanors of criminal mischief and possession of burglar’s tools.    Both are in the Orange County Jail.  Irelan is being held without bail.  Bock’s bail was set at $1,000.
Detectives recovered a portion of the stolen proceeds during the investigation.
The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office assisted Port Jervis Police in the investigation and arrest.
