KINGSTON – Police are continuing to investigate the death of a woman, whose body was found in her 164 Fair Street, Kingston, residence on New Year’s Day.
Police were asked to check the welfare of Joette Negron, 38, and at about 5:15 p.m., found her dead.
The cause of death has not been determined and the residence is being considered a crime scene until the cause of death has been determined and foul play is ruled out, police said.
Police are asking anyone who may have had contact with Negron or may have other information they believe relevant to the investigation to call Det. B. Kingston Police are being assisted by the Ulster County District Attorney’s Office.
