Poughkeepsie woman charged with possessing forged check

POUGHKEEPSIE – A Poughkeepsie woman was arrested last Sunday by State Police on a felony charge of criminal possession of a forged instrument.
Troopers said Allyse Moroney, 25, following a November investigation into the theft of personal checks. Moroney possessed a stolen and forged check from a Poughkeepsie bank.
With assistance from Hyde Park Police, Moroney was located and turned over to State Police.  She was placed in the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail and $10,000 bond.
