Man walks into Poughkeepsie Police HQ with two gunshot wounds

POUGHKEEPSIE – A 20-year-old Poughkeepsie man was shot while walking in the area of the Charles Street housing projects late Christmas Day afternoon.
City Police said the man walked into the police station suffering from two gunshot wounds to his left thigh.  The victim told police he walked past a group of men, heard two shots, realized he had been hit and started running.
He was transported to a local hospital where he was treated and later released.
The man eventually stopped cooperating with officers.
