WARWICK – The Empire State
Development Corporation, the state’s economic development arm, Monday
approved a grant of up to $3 million for infrastructure improvements to
upgrade water, sewer and road capacity at the former Mid-Orange Correctional
Facility in the Town of Warwick.

The expansive property is being redeveloped and turned into the Warwick
Valley Office and Technology Corporate Park.

The business park will be marketed as a shovel ready, campus-like corporate
park for economic development.

It will cost an estimated $7 million for the full infrastructure upgrade.
The state funding amounts to about 40 percent of that.
