Man arrested for entering Green Haven prison with razor

BEEKMAN – A Mount Vernon man was arrested and charged with felony promoting prison contraband after he entered Green Haven Correctional Facility in Beekman with a razor blade on Wednesday, December 16.
State Police charged Jafari Fray, 36, after the weapon was found as he entered the maximum security prison to visit an inmate.  Fray was sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
