VALATIE – Troopers have formally charged the estranged husband
of a Valatie woman with murder in connection with her death on Thursday.
David Agan, Jr., 42, was arraigned and remanded to the Columbia County
Jail without bail.
On Thursday, State Police found Christina Agan, 37, of Kinderhook, dead
at the Valatie Medical Arts Building on River Street. She had been stabbed
to death.
Investigation led to the apprehension of Agan while driving on Route 4
in the Town of East Greenbush.
Police did not release a motive for the killing.
