TOWN OF MONROE – A Kiryas
Joel School District bus westbound on Route 17 in the Town of Monroe shortly
after noon on Wednesday tipped over on its side and then landed back on
its wheels. The bus was carrying three adults and no children. The individuals
were transported to an area hospital for evaluation by the Kiryas Joel
Emergency Medical Services.
State Police are investigating the accident that damaged the front end of the bus.
