MIDDLETOWN – The Orange County Child Abuse Unit charged a Middletown man with felony sexual abuse and misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child following an investigation of a report to the New York State Child Abuse Hotline.
William Pasquale, 26, was charged after he allegedly touched the sexual parts of a girl under the age of 11 and had her touch him. The two were known to each other.
Pasquale was arraigned and sent to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond. An order of protection was issued for the victim.
The one-month investigation was conducted in conjunction with the Orange County Department of Social Services’ Child Protective Services.
