HIGHLAND – Narcan has saved another life of a heroin overdose victim.
Lloyd Town Police were called to the Highland Motel in Highland around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday for a report of a woman unconscious and unresponsive in a room.
Officers administered the miracle drug to a 31-year-old Poughkeepsie woman who was found there and successfully revived her.  She was transported by ambulance to Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie.
This was the fifth time this year that Lloyd Town Police administered Narcan to revive an individual who overdosed.
