TOWN OF NEWBURGH – A traffic
check for speeding resulted in the arrest of a 22-year-old Newburgh man
on several felony drug charges.
An Orange County Sheriff’s deputy pulled over Donovan Snape for speeding on Route 17K early Sunday morning.  An odor of marijuana led to a search of his car, which turned up a large amount of drugs including marijuana, heroin, cocaine, MDMA and over 320 controlled pills.
Snape was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, all felonies, as well as misdemeanor possession of marijuana and two traffic violations.  He is in the Orange County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail.
