Casale easily defeats Ray in Beacon mayoral contest

BEACON – By a more than two-to-one margin, Beacon Mayor Randy Casale, a registered member of the Independence Party, defeated Democrat Ronald Ray to retain the city’s top elected job.
Casale will enter his second term in the new year continuing his economic development agenda.
The mayor is a retired city employee. Ray is a one-time Dutchess County legislator.
