POUGHKEEPSIE – Two Poughkeepsie men, who were convicted in Dutchess County Court of killing Richard Parker of Poughkeepsie in February 2010, have had their appeals rejected.
Shareiff Davis and Bashan Rudolph, both 24, were found guilty in the shooting death of Parker, but in separate rulings on their appeals, the Appellate Division of State Supreme Court affirmed the lower court’s decisions.
Both convicts raised challenges contending they should not have been found guilty including that the evidence against them was not legally sufficient, but the court rejected them.
Parker was shot to death at the Forbus Hill Apartments on February 20, 2010.
