Eskarous
SPRING VALLEY – A doctor with a clinic on South Main Street in
Spring Valley has been arrested on sexual abuse charges.
Police said it is suspected that there are three victims, but it is believed
there are more.
Dr. Makar Eskarous, 48, who runs the Imhotep Medical Clinic, was charged
with sexual abuse, forcible touching, endangering the welfare of a child
and resisting arrest. In one case, Eskarous allegedly touched a woman
in a sexual manner in the presence of a child during an office visit.
At the time he was taken into custody, he resisted.
Eskarous was arraigned and committed to the Rockland County Jail in lieu
of $10,000 bail.
