Woodbury police chief suspended

HIGHLAND MILLS – Town of Woodbury Police Chief Richard Vazquez has been suspended from the job for 30 days, sources told MidHudsonNews.com.
Town Supervisor Ralph Caruso would not comment on the matter, but referred questions to the town labor attorneys.
Vazquez did not return a call for comment Monday night.
Vazquez is running for Rockland County Sheriff against incumbent Louis Falco.
