TOWN OF WALLKILL – Good weather and workers are being credited as the reasons for the rapid construction of the steelwork frame for the new Physicians’ Office Building and Spagnoli Cancer Center at Orange Regional Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill.
A topping off ceremony, marking the installation of the final of the 1,300 beams, was held on Friday.
Hospital spokesman Rob Lee said much has been accomplished at the facility since it opened just a few years ago.
“So much has happened since the new hospital opened three years ago and it’s just great to see this new physician’s’ office building and cancer center going up so quickly in an area that needs the added healthcare services,” Lee said.
The new facility, which will be attached to the hospital, is expected to be completed by the fall of next year.
