TOWN OF HAMPTONBURGH – Execution of a search warrant in a one-room apartment in the Town of Hamptonburgh has resulted in the arrests of the two residents, drugs and weapons.
State Police arrested Todd Brunning, 32, and Heather Johnson, 28, of the same address and seized over 1,300 decks of heroin, five handguns, two of which were stolen from a residence in the Town of Crawford, one rifle, one shotgun, an assortment of ammunition, a number of controlled substances in pill form, concentrated cannabis, marijuana, a large quantity of cash with a money counting machine and several thousand dollars worth of gift cards from a number of merchants.
Both Brunning and Johnson were charged with criminal possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia, criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of stolen property and unlawful possession of marijuana.  Brunning was also charged with weapons violations for having been previously convicted of a felony. The investigation is continuing and police said additional charges are pending.
Both are in the Orange County Jail.  Bail was set at $50,000 cash or $150,000 bond for Brunning and $25,000 cash or $75,000 bond or Johnson.
