Man arrested in Rockland with stolen $67,000 excavator

STONY POINT – A Brooklyn man wasarrested by Stony Point Town Police on a felony charge that he possessed stolen property.
Gilbert Fantoni, 47, was charged following an investigation that began after a $67,000 Kubota excavator was stolen from Middlesex, New Jersey.
The machine was recovered on June 23, 2014 from a wooded lot in the vicinity of North Street in Stony Point.
Police arrested Fantoni on October 6 of this year. He was released after posting $2,500 cash bail pending a future court appearance.
