Wassaic woman charged with burglary and drug possession

AMENIA – State Police arrested a Wassaic woman on burglary charges after she was caught inside a family member’s home.
Kristi Ball, 28, was charged with burglary and tampering with physical evidence, both as felonies, misdemeanor drug possession and unlawful possession of marijuana.  She is in the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
The victim told police she returned home on Sunday, October 4 to find the screens had been removed from her windows. She called 911 and spotted Ball walking down the hallway. Police took her into custody and charged her with possession of several controlled substances, burglary, and for attempting to conceal other stolen medications after her arrest.
