Kingston man tied to forgeries, larcenies

KINGSTON – A City of Kingston was arrested on felony charges following an investigation of a stolen credit card and other crimes.
Kingston Police arrested Joseph McManus, 39, of Clinton Avenue on September 30 for possession of stolen property regarding a stolen credit card.  Further investigation led to additional charges in connection with several forgeries and larcenies that occurred in Kingston.
McManus was charged with felonies of criminal possession of a forged instrument, forgery, and criminal possession of stolen property.  He is in the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail.
