TOWN OF LLOYD – A local man,
who was last seen walking in the area of Route 9W and Merritt Avenue in
Highland on the evening of September 22, was found dead Wednesday morning.
Lloyd Town Police said the body of Anthony Monaco, 59, of was discovered
in the Twaalfskill Creek behind a resident on Vineyard Avenue in Highland
at around 7:45 a.m.
Police said there appears to be no foul play and the cause of death is
pending an autopsy. The investigation is continuing.
Monaco had several health issues and was supposed to be on medication,
police said.
The day after his disappearance, his suitcases containing her personal
belongings were located on the side of the road in the area of Route 9W
and Milton Avenue.
