New Jersey man arrested in Orange County as fugitive

CORNWALL – State Police
at the Montgomery barracks have arrested a Mahwah, New Jersey man on an
active arrest warrant from the state of Illinois.

Troopers stopped Jose Rodriguez, 24, on the Thruway in Cornwall and found
him to have an arrest warrant for theft from the Cook County Sheriff’s
Office.

Rodriguez was arraigned and held in the Orange County Jail as a fugitive
from justice awaiting extradition.
