Gallo (file): “… old boys who
could care less …”

KINGSTON – Mayor Shayne Gallo may have lost the Democratic primary election and will not appear on the Kingston mayoral ballot, but he is continuing his outspoken style.
The one-term mayor said he is not endorsing one candidate over the other, but he plans to “get out” the accomplishments, records, experience, shortcomings and supporters of Steven Noble, who defeated him in the primary, and Republican Ronald Polacco.
“Mr. Noble, that’s the old boys – that’s Mr. Sottile, that’s Mr. Hoffay, that’s Mr. Landy, that’s Mr. Donaldson, that’s Mr. Cahill,” Gallo said.  “Those are the old boys who could care less about the City of Kingston unless it benefits them. At least Mr. Polacco, the people he has behind him are far more honest.”
Gallo has been highly critical of a number of Democrats in the city, including those on the common council.
