FISHKILL – A former inmate at Downstate Correctional Facility in Fishkill has been arrested by State Police for felony aggravated harassment of an employee at the prison.
In January, BCI investigators were advised by Downstate officials that Anthony Robinson, 27, threw urine at a corrections officer who was conducting security rounds.
In July, an arrest warrant was issued for Robinson, who was previously released from the prison.
On September 8, troopers were notified by NYPD that Robinson was in their custody after being stopped in the confines of the 44th Precinct. He was transported to State Police barracks in Wappinger and charged with aggravated harassment of an employee by an inmate. He is in the Dutchess County Jail without bail.
