Poughkeepsie man arrested by Dutchess Drug Task Force

POUGHKEEPSIE – A Poughkeepsie man was arrested on Tuesday by the Dutchess County Drug Task Force with 1 ½ ounces of uncut heroin, which if distributed would have a street value of some $5,000.
David Whitted, 38, of 162 North Clinton Street in the City of Poughkeepsie, was arrested following an investigation into heroin sales in the vicinity of Parker Avenue and Clinton Street in Poughkeepsie.  He was charged with felony criminal possession of drugs and several vehicle and traffic violations and was sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.
