Two Westchester men arrested on fugitive warrants

NEW YORK – Two Westchester County men have been arrested in New York City on fugitive warrants by the State Police and US Marshals Service.
Arton Mehaj, 19, of Yonkers, was wanted by Yonkers City Police on an outstanding warrant for felony assault.
Shane Nichols, 19, of Port Chester, was wanted as a fugitive from the State of Virginia. His original charges were for malicious wounding and automobile theft, resulting from a carjacking.
Both were returned to the respective wanting agencies.
