Victims in fatal Yorktown crash were New York City residents

YORKTOWN – State Police have identified
the three victims of Saturday’s fatal crash on the Taconic State
Parkway in Yorktown as New York City residents.

A 2004 BMW SUV driven by Nerim Sinanovic, 33, of the Bronx, was driving
northbound when it ran off the road onto the center median, became airborne
and into the southbound lanes where it struck a 2001 Toyota operated by
Donald Mulvaney, 63, of Brooklyn and a 2015 Ford driven by Tara Duggins,
28, of Hampton, Virginia. A 2003 Acura, driven by Jennifer Enriquez, 27,
of Peekskill, sideswiped Mulvaney’s vehicle and came to rest after
striking the center guiderail.

State Police said killed in the crash were Leona Sinanovic, 2, of the
Bronx, a rear passenger in the BMW. Sinanovic and two other passengers
were transported to Westchester Medical Center with non-life-threatening
injuries.

Ledell Mulvaney, 61, and Katherine Mulvaney, 31, both of Brooklyn, were
traveling in the vehicle driven by Donald Mulvaney. Ledell and Katherine
Mulvaney were both killed in the accident. Donald Mulvaney remained in
critical condition as of Sunday afternoon, troopers said.

The cause of the crash rains under investigation.
