WHITE PLAINS – Tuition will remain
unchanged in the new academic year as the Westchester Community College
budget was approved by the county Board of Legislators on Monday.

The County and state contributions are the same, at $35 million each.
Student tuition makes up the remainder.
Legislator Sheila Marcotte called the budget a “fiscally responsible”
spending plan.

“We recognize the fact that they have tremendous needs they need
to meet. They have set forth goals for themselves; we commend them for
not just setting them, but meeting them,” she said. “They
provide a tremendous service to many of our residents.”
Tuition remains the same at $4,280 and Westchester residents and $11,770
for non-residents.
