KINGSTON – Sales of existing single
family homes in Ulster County rose again in July as compared to the same
month last year. In the first seven months of the year, sales are also
up.
Home sales totaled 140 in July, compared to 130 in July 2014. The average
price also rose, from $234,188 in July of last year to $192,750 this July.
Year to date, home sales rose from 661 last year to 719 this year. The
average selling price fell slightly, from $237,774 in 2014 to $236,533.
Available listings in July were 1,412 compared with 1,291 one year before.
