Ulster woman jailed on burglary charge

KINGSTON – The Ulster County Sheriff’s
Office has arrested a Shawangunk woman following an investigation into
a burglary.

Deputies received a report of a burglary in progress on July 29 on Route
208 in the Town of Shawangunk. Police allege that Allie Spera, 29, entered
the victim’s home and stole electronics and jewelry.

On August 1, detectives charged Spera with felony burglary with other
charges pending.

She was arraigned and remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $20,000
cash bail or $40,000 bond.
