POUGHKEEPSIE – A Poughkeepsie man arrested in connection with a July 13 armed robbery of a cabbie.
Poughkeepsie Police said Kaheem Cummings, 21, was arrested for the 3:22 a.m. gunpoint robbery on Hammersley Avenue in the city. City police and the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office made the arrest, charging him with felony armed robbery.
The investigation is continuing.
Meanwhile, city police are continuing their investigations into the shooting deaths of Shamiek Floyd and Willie Trotman, who were victims of apparently unrelated incidents within the past month.
