TOWN OF THOMPSON – Special districts in the Town of Thompson, including lighting, sewer and road improvements, that are now paid for by residents in those areas, will be transferred to the Adelaar venture, which will include the Montreign Casino.
The town board, which sought and received state approvals, is expected
to grant the transfer next week, said Town Supervisor William Rieber.
“The entire infrastructure project is about $87 million and that is spread out over five different districts,” Reiber said.
The districts will be within the Adelaar property and covered by the developers.
