MONTICELLO – The Rape Intervention Services and Education Program of Sullivan County (RISE), administered through Catskill Regional Medical Center, will receive a $29,000 state grant.
The program provides services to victims of sexual abuse, as well as offers prevention education.  RISE also offers confidential individuals, family or couples counseling and support groups.
“These are critical funds that will go a long way towards helping the Rape Intervention Services and Education Program of Sullivan County provide service and education,” said state Senator John Bonacic (R, Mt. Hope), who secured the grant. “By providing these resources to Sullivan County, we can take a step towards one day ending sexual violence, while at the same time empowering victims to seek help when they are attacked.”
