GOSHEN – An abandoned house in Goshen that was destroyed by fire
Friday night appears to have had a notorious past, linked to convicted
serial killer Nathaniel White.

White, who turns 55 on July 28, is serving a prison term of 150 years
to life at Attica Correctional Facility.

The three-alarm fire of undetermined origin was at a house at Harriman
Drive and South Street in Goshen, which had been abandoned for years.
The intensity of the flames resulted in the building collapsing.

It is believed to have been the house where the bodies of two of White’s
six murder victims were found.

White’s killing spree began in 1991 and ended one year later.

His first victim was Juliana Frank, 29, of Middletown, whose body was
found on abandoned railroad tracks in Middletown. She was stabbed to death.

He killed Christine Klebbe, 14, the niece of his girlfriend, who disappeared
on June 29 of that year. Her body was discovered off Echo Lake Road in
Goshen on August 4, 1992.

Laurette Huggins Reviere, 34, of Middletown, was killed on July 10 and
found in her Middletown home by police.

Angela Hopkins and Brenda Whiteside were cousins who met White at a Poughkeepsie
bar on July 20, 1992. Their bodies were found off Harriman Drive in an
abandoned house, believed to be the one that was leveled Friday night,
on August 4. That had been beaten to death.

Adriane Hunter of Middletown, 27, White’s last victim, was stabbed
to death on July 30, 1992. Her body was discovered later that day in the
burned out Hillcrest Manor Restaurant.
