TOWN OF WALLKILL – A multi-car accident on Route 17 east in the Town of Wallkill Monday afternoon shut down the highway for some two hours, causing a backup of several miles
Three vehicles were involved with several injuries reported.
While the accident victims were being attended to and the incident investigated, the highway eastbound was closed from approximately 2:15 p.m. to about 4 p.m.
