BEACON – Dutchess County Government and the City of Beacon have been collaborating on projects in recent years and County Executive Marcus Molinaro and Mayor Randy Casale discussed other ways to work together during a recent walking tour of the city’s business district.
Casale said the two brainstormed about other future projects.
“We looked at the county property to see how we could make that work our comprehensive plan and still keep some county services there but maybe move around where maybe down the road some of them could work out of our City Hall and maybe City Hall can go up on Main Street in the county building,” Casale said.
The two, along with other county and city officials, also discussed Main Street off-street parking lots and possible development of offices along the street with parking behind them.
