LIBERTY – A Liberty woman has been released after posting $25,000
bond on a charge that she stole approximately $80,000 from the Liberty
Cemetery Association.

Deborah Lyden, 61, was the association’s treasurer at the time of
the thefts.

In March State Police began an investigation into a report that large
sums of money were missing from the accounts of the association.

Lyden, who was arrested on Saturday, June 13, was charged with felony
grand larceny.
