STORMVILLE – A Springfield, Massachusetts woman was arrested for promoting prison contraband and criminal possession of marijuana, both misdemeanors.
State Police arrested Shaquana Stewart, 22, after she entered Greenhaven Correctional Facility in Stormville to visit an inmate while in possession of 32 grams of marijuana. She was taken into custody after troopers were contacted by prison officials.
Stewart was sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond.
